mum took me out for a walk in my new sandals today. it has been a while since it last rained around here so i had to get used to having shoes on/walking in them and let's just say she was having a little too much fun laughing AT me--not WITH me. but after a few steps i was running in my sandals--piece of cake for this little fashionista pup. *wink*

summer is here and with summer, we look forward to sunny temperatures and blazing hot streets and sidewalks....that my tootsies DON'T have to walk on. *wink*

i don't usually wear anything on my paws (except for some booties i have that come in handy when it rains--that's for a future post though, hehe.) but mum got me these sandals just in case i ever have to walk when it's a little steamy outside....

 it is getting really REALLY cold, so mum decided to go out and buy me (another) a velvet scarf and a teddy bear hat to keep my big ears and little head warm when we go out. i'm not sure about my hat but i love my scarf and it's my favorite colour: Pink! 

oh, didn't you  know? velvet scarfs are all t he rage this winter season!! *wink*

last weekend mum took me to the Petsmart Halloween Pawty and guess what? i won "Best Halloween Costume"! my prize you ask? check it out:

hi everyfurry!!

sorry we haven't been on!! the heat totally had us on "lazy mode" again. boy oh boy was it hot a couple days ago--it went up to 113!! but it has cooled down again. yesterday, mr. sun slept in, but today he is out and about:

we are looking forward to saying HELLO to the fall weather and GOODBYE to the summer heat!

having scooby over is keeping me busy. he is MUCH better. he is starting to open up: attempting to play w/ luna's stuffy's, eating all his dindin, wagging his tail, and no more whining. the only thing i can't get him to do is have a snack or two when "cookie time" rolls around in the day. i tried greenies, chicken treats, beggin' strips, peanut butter, 3 dogs bakery carob chip cookies and vanilla sandwich cookies--doesn't want anything. oh! except string cheese! he does like string cheese. but it's funny how picky he is, and here i thought luna was picky....

mummy and i went to the mall.

first, we stopped at nordbarks (nordstrom).

i helped her pick out some stylish pieces. i must have done a great job because she ended up taking everything that i suggested. am i good or what? *wink*

then we went to just paws pet store and looked around, but nothing really caught our attention.

it is intersting how people react to us when we go to the mall in my stroller. a few people think it's adorable, some think it is bizarre, while most feel that it's silly and make fun....but we don't pay attention to the negative people. mum and i love my stroller and that is all that matters. :)

i am proud to say that my little munchkin minnie mouse eared chi was so happy to be out this morning, she was literally jumping in the air like a bunny and running everywhere. i happen to get this lucky shot of her in the air--though it is not as sharp and detailed as i would have liked...but it's cute.

surfin' in the USA~

it's another scorcher today for our part of california furends!! i hope you are all staying cool! mum hosed down my big sister and little brofur and they are laying under the shade in the cool dirt. she is not very pleased w/ them laying in the dirt because they are all muddy now--but, if it keeps them cool, then that is what matters the most. 

as for me....mummy bought me this funny looking piece of clothing called a swimsuit:

and she took me into the pool w/ her! i usually hate water but today, it felt great! i swam around for a bit and lay on top of this floaty thing:

after an hour or more, i was dry and fast asleep....

boy it is hot!

today it went up to 107 degrees here in Los Angeles. mum can't get creative w/ the heat....please excuse her. mum says she can't wait for fall.
